“To create a unique life experience in Guanacaste for our customers and investors in harmony with nature and traditions creating innovative growing opportunities for our human resource and neighboring communities, as well as to offer a high profitability to our partners being leaders in the sustainable tourism development of Costa Rica”. Reserva Conchal mission goes along with a number of actions to be part of the nowadays majority of homes and hotel complexes which direct their efforts to benefit not only its investors but also and most importantly the environment, communities and resources which make of every lodging project and spot of Costa Rica a place to visit and experience the beauties of a nature privileged country.
Taking a look at Reserva Conchal influence over the North Pacific Coast of Costa Rica there is a significant active contribution to the growth and sustainable development of the Guanacaste society to solve priority problems by means of different concrete and measurable actions. Internal public, communities and the environment are the main cores of Reserva Conchal social responsibility.
In regards to the environment protection, the Conchal National Wildlife Refuge and the rivers catchment management projects are supported by working on environmental education programs with the community, local schools and workers. People are taught better ways of cattle raising and agriculture methods to protect the water and land resources as well as the proper management of solid waste and recycling along with cleaning campaigns organized with schools and community members. Reserva Conchal also sponsors FONAFIFO, Spanish initials for the National Found for Forest Financing, with its programs within its influential area.
Aside from these programs Reserva Conchal supports various educational, sports and cultural programs such as computer lessons, educators training, environmental research, and various infrastructural projects in schools to contribute with the development of the community and local educational authorities. Altogether, about sixteen communities in the county of Santa Cruz Guanacaste have been benefited in one way or other from Reserva Conchal social responsibility programs. Eighteen of these were recently awarded with the environmental blue flag program given to those schools working on environment conservation whose practices are to help nature and protect natural resources. Reserva Conchal is honored to contribute to the growth and education of the future generations to build a better Costa Rica.
